Getting started

• Write your script. Type it in TakeKit, paste it, or share text from any app straight into TakeKit as a new script.
• Hit record. Read from the on-screen guide — the current line stays highlighted mid-screen so you never get lost. The guide is only visible to you; it is never in your exported video.
• Export. Pick your best take, crop to 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, or 4:5, trim, and export in up to 1080p — ready for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, or YouTube.

Auto-scroll and speech recognition

With speech-paced auto-scroll (Pro), the guide follows your voice as you speak. Recognition runs entirely on your iPhone — always, nothing is sent anywhere. If the guide isn't following you, check that TakeKit has microphone and speech recognition permissions in iOS Settings › Privacy. If on-device recognition isn't available for your device or language, TakeKit never falls back to servers: auto-scroll switches to fixed-speed scrolling and captions aren't generated. You can always use fixed-speed scrolling with instant speed control, or eye-contact mode to dock the text next to the front lens.

Takes

• Record as many takes as you need — they're grouped by script, so nothing gets mixed up.
• Resume from where you stopped. No re-reading from the top after a flubbed line.
• Mark your best take with a star, rename takes, and compare attempts before exporting.
• Watch the live mic meter while you record so you never discover bad audio too late.
• Dual camera: record front and back at the same time on supported devices.

TakeKit is free for up to 5 scripts and 5 recordings with a small watermark. TakeKit Pro is a single one-time purchase — no subscription, no renewal, ever. It unlocks unlimited scripts and takes, speech-paced auto-scroll, word-timed captions, automatic silence cutting, and watermark-free export. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account — use Restore Purchases in Settings if Pro doesn't show up on a new device.

iCloud sync

Your scripts and takes sync across your devices through your own private iCloud account whenever you're signed in to iCloud. There's nothing to configure and no account to create.
